Велика трійка мобільних операторів lifecell, Kyivstar і Vodafone Ukraine мають намір запустити 4G у столичному метро, проте про строки розгортання мереж воліють не говорити. Це стало відомо завдяки спілкування представників операторів у Facebook.
Усі троє операторів відмітилася у пості розробника програмного забезпечення Юрія Возія, який заявив про великі втрати операторів через нерозгортання мереж 4G у метро.
«За моїми підрахунками lifecell, Kyivstar і Vodafone Ukraine втрачають близько 10 мільярдів гривень на рік тільки через те, що в підземці немає 4G. Відосікі, подкастікі і ігруленькі – це все потрібно поки ти в дорозі і зазвичай майже зовсім не потрібно, коли ти вже на місці і робиш свої щоденні справи», – написав він.
Реагуючи на зауваження чоловіка, оператори заяви про плани розгортання мереж. Цікаву деталь надав представник Kyivstar. За його словами, мережу 4G у метро «буде будувати підрядник відразу для всіх операторів». Представник оператора lifecell зауважила, що компанія воліє «порадувати своїх абонентів приємною новиною якомога швидше». А Vodafone Ukraine впевнений, що 4G у столичному метро зрештою з’явиться.
